Meet Dr. Aric Hawkins

PAST

Dr. Aric Hawkins was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. He moved to Orlando to attend the University of Central Florida, where he earned a Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences. Early in his time at UCF, he knew he wanted to become a dentist because of his passion for connecting with people and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.

After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Hawkins moved to the Northeast to attend Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, he remained in Boston and practiced dentistry while his partner completed his degree. During his time there, he gained valuable experience in comprehensive dentistry and developed a particular interest in restorative and cosmetic care.

PRESENT

Dr. Hawkins and his family returned to Orlando in 2026, where they expanded their family by adding two golden retrievers! He is thrilled to be back in sunny Florida, where he no longer has to shovel snow—or wonder whether his Subaru will make it out of a snowbank.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hawkins enjoys baking, swimming, and trying a good workout class. He loves meeting new people and continuing to explore Central Florida with his dogs. Most of all, he enjoys unwinding at home and spending time with his family.

FUTURE

Dr. Hawkins is committed to continuing his education, expanding his knowledge of dentistry, and staying current with the latest technology and advancements in the field. He is excited to join Hamlin Modern Dentistry, where he can continue practicing with a philosophy centered on personalized care.
